Background
The Aonoyama volcano group consists of about 10 lava domes from about 1.3 to 0.15 million years in age (Nakano et al., 2001-). The volcanic products have a narrow chemical composition similar to that of Daisen and consist of biotite and hornblende andesites that often contain granulitic inclusions (Matsuhisa and Kurasawa, 1983).---
