Bagana volcano (Bougainville Island, Papua New Guinea): new eruption

Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin recorded new emissions of ash during the past two months, when the volcano erupted on 29 February 2020. Ash plumes reached 10,000 ft (3,000 m) altitude. Volcanic ash is dispersed towards the northwest.
