Background
Corregidor is a largely submarine caldera with a post-caldera dacitic lava dome located on the Bataan lineament at the mouth of Manila Bay. Corregidor Island forms the northern part of the caldera, and Caraballo Island lies on the SE part of the caldera rim. A radiometric date of 1.0 +/- 0.09 million years was obtained from Corregidor.---
