Chico CA / Very weak shaking (MMI II) : No, I'm sure I felt an earthquake sometime close to midnight. It began very faint,as if a large truck with a silent motor was coming up my street but then it suddenly felt like a far away shaking for only a few seconds, maybe five seconds. But I've felt quite a few earthquakes in my life, at least 2 were 7. Something that I experienced living in southern California. This low faint shaking came from the earth beneath and I was sure I had felt a far away quake. ???
