Background
Identified by the Servicio Geologico Colombiano in a press release in February 2015, this area of a partially collapsed crater and lava domes is covered in thick vegetation. SGC scientists tentatively estimated that the last eruption was 30 ka, but noted that there are hot springs in the area.---
