Meadow lakes / Light shaking (MMI IV) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 15-20 s : I was walking up the stairs when I felt the quick but strong horizontal jolt. It felt like someone gave the house a quick strong push to the right. I had to hold on to the stair railing so I would fall over. The hanging lights the the upstairs level of my house swung to the right was if somebody pushed them. The original shake lasted about 5 seconds. About 20 seconds after the lights were only slightly swaying. I would say the quick shock was no more then 20 seconds. | 7 users found this interesting.
