Ausbruch des Krakatau 2007-2010
Nach Ausbrüchen in 1996 und 2001 erwacht Anak Krakatau erwacht Ende Oktober 2007. Um die spektakuläre Aktivität dieses außergewöhnlichen Vulkans zu dokumentieren organisierte VolcanoDiscovery bisher insgesamt 6 Expeditionen zwischen November 2007 und September 2009, bei denen wir mit einer kleinen Gruppe je 3-6 Tage auf der Inselgruppe verbrachten.
