Fuego volcano (Guatemala): activity decreased

The volcano observatory INSIVUMEH reported that the activity of the volcano decreased significantly on 24 September after the situation was quickly worsening characterized by new lava flows and elevated strombolian explosions.
Lava flows ceased during the 24 Sep and are no longer active or at least decreased its advance.
The RSAM (real-time seismic amplitude measurement) seismic network detected a decreasing trend of volcanic tremor that remains at average levels.
