In the course of the night there were 7 explosions, 4 weak and 3 moderate expelling fine ash at 500 and 800 meters above the crater. The stronger explosions were accompanied by rumbling noises and created plumes that drifted 7 km to the west and SW where fine ash fall occurred in the Sangre Cristo area. The Taniluya lava flow is reportedly now 1200 m long (although the special bulletin the evening before said 200 m), and the Ceniza flow 200 m long. Both are still active.
