During the ongoing Krakatau to Bali tour, a small group with expedition leader Galih Yati managed to land and visit Anak Krakatau Island and observed strong steam emissions from the still water-filled crater from close:
Water temperatures in the crater lake seemed high, estimated about 50-80 deg Celsius. Weak to moderate thermal signals continued over the past weeks, with intermittent stronger explosions.

Krakatau volcano (Indonesia) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 12 June-18 June 2019 (Continuing Activity)
PVMBG reported that Anak Krakatau's seismic network recorded one eruptive event at 0719 on 12 June. The event was not followed by visible ash emissions, though observations were hindered by weather conditions. The Alert Level remained at 2 (on a scale of 1-4), and the public was warned to remain outside of the 2 km radius hazard zone from the crater. ... Read all
