La Palma volcano eruption 2021: 4 Oct - lava fountains and ash

After the reconfiguration of the vents the day before, caused by repeated collapses of parts of the crater walls, the eruption seemed more stable on 4 Oct. Intense explosive activity continued at decreased level from the vents, with pulsating lava fountains as well as lava effusion from the now breached crater.
