Merapi volcano (Central Java, Indonesia): growing lava dome and glowing rockfalls Jan 2019
Expedition leader Galih observed Merapi on 10 Jan and documented the growing lava dome, which is becoming increasingly dangerous, as glowing rockfalls have becoming larger and more frequently, prone to produce pyroclastic flows.
Photos were taken from the south east side of Merapi in around 4 km distance from the crater.
