Aira volcano (Kyushu, Japan) - Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report for 9 April-15 April 2014 (Continuing Activity)
JMA reported that during 7-11 April two explosions from Showa Crater at Aira Caldera's Sakurajima volcano ejected tephra as far as 800 m. Incandescence from the crater was detected during the night of 10 April. The Alert Level remained at 3 (on a scale of 1-5). ... Read all
