There was a hot lahar yesterday at 21:50 h local time in the Nima 1 ravine which drained large amount of volcanic material and blocks. It lasted 15 minutes during which the windows of the observatory were vibrating. - All news about: Santiaguito volcano

Santa Maria / Santiaguito volcano (Guatemala), activity update: weak explosions, lava flows
2 weak explosions were recorded yesterday at 05.10 and 5:50 pm producing gray ash plumes rising 300 m. Constant avalanches and active lava flows are present from the northeast, southeast, southwest and south and west flanks of the dome, which can be seen glowing at night.
