Santa María / Santiaguito volcano (Guatemala) activity update: weak to moderate explosions, active lava flow from dome

Weak to moderate explosions produce ash clouds rising 400-900 m and drift mostly W and SW to about 10 km distance before dissipating, and light ash fall can be observed in the areas of Monte Claro nd nearby. Weak avalanches occur mostly from the lava flow on the SW flank of the lava dome.
