Santiaguito volcano (Guatemala), activity update: strong ash explosions on 26 April

Santiaguito volcano had 4 strong eruptions between 18:50 and 20:00 local time on 26 April, 2010. According to INSIVUMEH and local newspapers, the explosions from the lava dome produces ash plumes reaching 8-9 km a.s.l.
