Santiaguito (Guatemala) volcano activity update: 1 to 3 explosions per hour with weak avalanches

INSIVUMEH observed 1 to 3 explosions per hour with weak avalanches on the southern flank. Volcanic ash is dispersed in a southwest direction.
Ash plumes reached 3,400 metres (11,155 ft) altitude.
