Shiveluch volcano (Kamchatka), activity update: lava dome growing & ash plumes

It was reported that there was higher seismic activity at Shiveluch during the time of 2-9 January and ash plumes rose to an altitude of 8.8 km. There was also a daily thermal anomaly on the lava dome and ash plumes, what is a sign of lava dome growing. - All news about: Shiveluch volcano

KVERT reported that seismic activity at Shiveluch was above background levels during 9-16 January.
