Klyuchevskoy (Kamchatka): (5 Nov) The effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues at moderate levels.
A satellite image from 3 November shows the lava flow on the southeast flank along the Apakhonchich chute has increased in length. The length of the lava flow is unknown and was not reported, but from available imagery and compared to the last update image (31 October) seems to be longer.
Near-continuous strombolian explosions produce emissions of water vapor, gases and small amounts of ash.

Manam (Papua New Guinea): (4 Nov) Improved early warning systems are crucial for minimising loss of life and effectively planning for volcanic emergencies. Typically, volcanologists use seismic monitoring as their main indicator of imminent volcanic activity. As technology advances, alternative early warning system methods are being explored by volcanologists.
A better understanding of the chemistry within a volcanic plume, and the clues about future eruptions that might be contained within, may lead to more accurate forecasting of future volcanism.

Merapi (Central Java, Indonesia): PVMBG reported that an alert level for the volcano was raised from the level 2 to level 3 as an increase of seismicity has been recorded.
After the powerful eruptions on 21 June a seismicity remains elevated including shallow volcano-tectonic earthquakes.

Copahue (Chile/Argentina): Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Buenos Aires (VAAC) issued the following report: ONLY STEAM AND GASES

Barren Island (Indian Ocean): After a one year calm period with little or no activity, it seems to have picked up again since around 6 November last year.
Today at around 06:45 local time Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Darwin recorded an explosive eruption at the Indias's only active volcano that generated an ash plume, which reached approx. 5,000 ft (1,500 m) altitude and drifted SW.
