Volcanic activity worldwide 10 Nov 2020: Stromboli volcano, Pacaya, Dukono, Rincón de la Vieja, Rev...

Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy): A stronger than usual explosion happened at the volcano minutes ago, our local friends reported.
A moderately loud explosion noise was heard from the village of Stromboli, and even from the Scari area on the eastern side (opposite the active craters), red glow could be seen from behind the Pizzo ridge.

The seismic signal shows a strong signal of the event. Webcam images show significant amounts of glowing lava bombs were ejected onto the upper slopes of the Sciara del Fuoco.

No significant change in activity has occurred during the past days. Explosive activity of the volcano continues and is characterized by near-constant vulcanian-type explosions.
According to Japan Meteorological Agency a moderate explosion occurred at 14:45 local time today. An ash plume rose 3,280 ft (1,000 m) above the summit and drifted south.

Additionally, a surveillance cameras observed a constant glow that is visible from the summit crater and suggesting rise of magma.

Pacaya (Guatemala): (10 Nov) Effusive-explosive eruption of the volcano continues.
INSIVUMEH reported that the strombolian-type explosions continue at elevated levels producing strong ash emissions over the past few days. An explosions at the volcano generate a dense ash plumes, which reached approx. 10,500 ft-11,150 ft (3,200 m-3,400 m) altitude and drifted NE. It presents a danger for aviation and precautions with air traffic must be taken.

Rincón de la Vieja (Costa Rica): (10 Nov) OVSICORI-UNA recorded a small eruption at 15:23 local time yesterday.
An ash plume rose 6,614 ft (2,016 m) above the summit.
