Etna (Sicily, Italy): The strombolian activity from the saddle vent between the old and new SE crater continues.

Langila (New Britain, Papua New Guinea): (26 Jan) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSON TO FL080 EXT N 15NM OBS VA DTG:26/2200Z

Bogoslof (United States, Aleutian Islands): Another explosive phase has started at the volcano a short time ago, from 08:24 AKST local time (17:24 UTC). The Alaska Volcano Observatory detected increased seismic activity and lightnings in the area, typical for large explosions.
The aviation color code was again raised to RED. The altitude of the ash plume is estimated to 25-30,000 ft (7.5-9 km).

Erta Ale (Danakil depression, Ethiopia): A new Landsat 8 satellite image from yesterday published by Nasa's Earth Observatory site shows the location of the new flank eruption at Erta Ale.
It seems that there are two fissure eruption sites on the flanks of the volcano, at distances of approx. 3 and 4 km SE from the lava lake in the summit caldera.
