Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 11000 ft (3400 m) altitude or flight level 110 and is moving at 5 kts in W direction.

Nishinoshima volcano (Pacific Ocean, Japan): ash plume swirled around by the tropical depression

The activity of the volcano continues at elevated levels, characterized by strong ash emissions. Currently, the ash plume is being swirled around in the area by the tropical depression Six, which weakened from the previous category of tropical storm.
