Nyamuragira volcano (DR Congo): strong thermal signal from summit area

Activity at the volcano has been increasing recently. A strong thermal signal is visible from the summit caldera or the upper NE flank, suggesting that magma has risen again to the surface.
What type of activity it is (new lava lake in one of the summit pit crater?), is currently unknown.
