Sakurajima volcano (Kyushu, Japan) activity update

Eruptions have been stronger again during the past days. In the 4 days since 16 Feb, at least 6 vulcanian-type explosions were recorded with ash plumes rising up to 12,000 ft (3.7 km) altitude.
