Stromboli volcano (Eolian Islands, Italy) update: regular strombolian explosions

When observed yesterday evening, the activity at the volcano was relatively impressive: at least 3 vents produced typical strombolian explosions at quite regular intervals ranging from 15-30 minutes.
The easternmost vent, which forms a prominent cone, had the most vigorous eruptions roughly every 15-20 minutes, with ejections of glowing bombs to 150-200 m height that fell back on the entire outside slopes of the cone and sometimes rolled down the Sciara.
The westernmost vent had slightly more frequent, but weaker strombolian explosions and a vent in the central area erupted more rarely, approx. every 30-45 minutes.
Other vents regularly produced small dense ash plumes without visible incandescent material. Only very weak glow could be seen from the crater terrace in the intervals between explosions, suggesting that lava spattering is absent or only very intermittent and weak.
