Etna (Sicily, Italy): After a period of mild activity during the last days of April, the volcano had been again calm until yesterday evening, when intermittent mild strombolian activity returned once again to the New SE crater.
Current values of volcanic tremor are low, not suggesting that the activity is about to increase any time soon. It is open to speculation whether the series of particular violent lava fountain episodes during Feb-early April have now emptied the reservoir that contained eruptible magma for good, at least for the time being, and the volcano will stay relatively calm for some time now.
It is unclear whether the activity in the other summit craters (Bocca Nuova, Voragine and NE crater) still continues; it had been largely unaffected by the activity of the New SE crater and had been going on at fluctuating intensity for many months. Thermal anomalies are still present in at least some of the other vents, suggesting that mild intra-crater activity is still present, but the current near-total absence of visitors and direct observations make it difficult to know for sure.

Fagradalsfjall (Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland): The activity has remained similar as during the past 48 hours, characterized by intermittent episodes of pulsating lava fountains from the central vent following periods of calm lava effusion.
Some of the fountaining episodes during the past hours seem to have been again relatively intense, with heights of estimated 100-200 m. The periods between individual fountaining episodes have been about 30-60 minutes.

Dukono (Halmahera): (3 May) Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Darwin (VAAC) issued the following report: CONTINUOUS VA EMISSION TO FL070, EXT W OBS AT 03/2140Z

Kilauea (Hawai'i): In the past two weeks, Kīlauea's lava lake has crusted over nearly half of its active lava surface while gas emissions remain low, and yet the volcano continues to erupt at a low level.
Our updated estimates based on USGS imagery and map area calculations suggest close to a 50% reduction in the open lava lake surface over the past two weeks. Gas emissions over the past week ranged from 250-475 tonnes/day, similar to the previous week and less than half of the prior average during February and March.

Pacaya (Guatemala): The lava flows from the new fissure vent on the NW flank of the McKenney crater that had started on 30 April remain active and have reached the flatter areas at the base of the cone.
The flow fronts have reached more than 2000 m distance and are slowly approaching towards farmland of La Brena. So far, the lava doesn't threaten threaten inhabited areas.

Fagradalsfjall (Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland): The eruptive activity remains overall similar as during yesterday, with alternating phases of lava fountaining and only more or less quiet lava effusion. It seems that most activity by now is concentrated at the vent #5 in the central part of the fissure system, which had began erupting on 13 April. ... Read all
