Steam and ash plume from Klyuchevskoy volcano today
MODIS hot spots at Karangetang during the past 7 days (MODVOLC, Univ. Hawaii)
Eruption from Colima yesterday
Mild to moderate ash emissions reached approx. 20,000 ft (6 km) altitude or 1 km above the volcano's summit. Glow is sometimes visible at the crater.
Karangetang (Siau Island, Sangihe Islands, Indonesia): A new eruption that started already on 23 April has been producing lava flows from the summit vent. During the past days, this activity has increased.
A number of people have been evacuated from areas at less than 3 km distance from the volcano. The main hazard are pyroclastic flows that the volcano often generates when activity is elevated.
VSI keeps the volcano at alert level 3 (out of 4), at which it has been since 3 Sep 2013.
Dukono (Halmahera): Ash emissions have been comparably strong over the past days. VAAC Darwin regularly reported ash plumes visible on satellite data.
Ruapehu (North Island): Intermittent moderate to strong volcanic tremor has been observed at the volcano during the past 2-3 weeks, GNS Science reported. The seismic activity is among the strongest observed in the past 8 years.
The temperature of the crater lake declined a bit to from its peak of over 40°C in late January–early February 2015 to about 31°C in mid March and is now at 37-39°C.

Colima (Western Mexico): Explosions continue to occur, but have decreased in intensity and frequency.
