Zhupanovsky volcano (Kamchatka): increasing ash emissions

Ash emissions from the volcano have increased. Yesterday morning, VAAC Tokyo reported ash plumes that rose to 8-11 km altitude and drifted south and were visible on satellite images.Today, new, but smaller emissions were reported with plume heights of 3-4 km.
The aviation alert level was raised to orange.
