Background
Dagit-Dagitan is an andesitic volcano forming the small Verde Island between Luzon and Mindoro Islands. The most recent activity on Verde Island is probably late Pleistocene in age (Wolfe and Self, 1983) and formed a small tuff cone. No hot springs are present, although wells are hot and argillic alteration is taking place (Wolfe 1982, pers. comm.).---
